Bailey Construction Restoring Historic Building To Former Glory. Bailey Construction of Lower Kilburn, Derbyshire have recently completed a huge renovation of the historic Cromford Court in Matlock. The listed building which is located opposite Arkwrights Mill has undergone a sympathetic upgrade including new stone window surrounds, mullions and cills, new roofing, chimneys and chimney stacks as well as a large internal fit-out including works to a new underground indoor swimming pool.

The old stables at the rear of the building have also been converted into luxury dwellings and garage areas.

The external stonework to the building has been treated and cleaned to help bring back the original luster of the local stone, as well as the decorative brick and timber work that has also undergone renovation.
